‘Picture This: Hope is’ an inspiring collection of black and white photographs, submitted by professional and amateur photographers from across the UK, that capture the essence of Hope.

In this Project Lab exhibition, HEAL Collective traces Cecilia’s story, from her childhood in Malawi to her flight to the UK, and her disastrous journey through the asylum system.

Retrace the steps of those who were locked away here, uncover eerie tales from staff and visitors alike, and learn of the many paranormal experiences reported within this historic building.

With artist Paula Daniel Pontes, you will work with transfer paint to create a design on paper, inspired by the Picture This: Hope Exhibition, and then print your design onto fabric.

In this workshop with Mary Broddle, you will embroider a heart motif and have the opportunity to personalise your design to reflect something or someone you love.
