Easter Activities at the museum

Join us for a selection of activities at the museum this Easter Holiday.

Justice Re-invented

Where: Project Lab
Cost: Free
When: Tuesday 8 - Thursday 10 April, 10:30am - 3:30pm
Come and ‘design your own prison’ in the project lab. For this, you will be given some starter prison facilities to design your basic prison plan. You are then given 10 points to spend on extras to upgrade your prison building. Which extras you choose and how your design looks is up to you.

Fingerprinting Techniques

Where: Exhibitions
Cost: Free
When: Tuesday 15 - Thursday 17 April, 10:30am-3:30pm
We will be practicing lifting fingerprints using different techniques each day. On day one, you will be using aluminium fingerprint powder to lift fingerprints from tiles.

On day two, we will reveal whole hand prints on paper using magnetic powder. Then on the third day, we will be finding out which household objects can be used to lift fingerprints off tiles.

Object table with items from our collection

Where: Double Cell
Cost: Included With Museum Entry
When: Tuesday 8 - Thursday 10 April, and Tuesday 15 - Thursday 17 April, 10:30am - 3:30pm
In the double white cell, we will have some of our 30 objects for 30 years out for the public to respond to.

You can also design your own good conduct badge, make a wanted poster and design your own police hat crafts in the white cell too.
